The Chicago Fire closed out a month long training camp in Orlando with a 2-2 draw against Orlando City Saturday morning. The draw, which was played behind closed doors at Exploria Stadium, moved the Fire to 2-1-1 on the preseason.
Przemyslaw Frankowski opened the scoring for Chicago, thumping home a monster shot from outside the box to make it 1-0 Fire.
Orlando equalized in the 25th minute off a goal by Schaumburg native Chris Mueller. The teams went into halftime tied 1-1.
After the break, Luka Stojanoviu0107 continued his successful comeback from last season’s injury, heading home a low cross from Frankowski to make it 2-1 Fire.
