Chicago Fire Academy goalkeeper Damian Las and the U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team finished second at the U-17 International Youth Tournament held from Oct. 12-16 in England.
The Norridge, IL., native started in net for the side's opening match against England last Friday and made four saves in a 3-1 defeat at Deva Stadium in Chester, England. Las additionally got the starting nod in the U-17's come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Brazil on Oct. 14. Down 2-0 after 26 minutes, Las made five saves to help the side complete the full comeback on an 85th minute Joe Scally winner.
