The Chicago Fire are back in training in Bridgeview today after Wednesday’s day trip to Minnesota. The Fire had gotten to the team hotel, when they got word that Minnesota suspected another player had tested positive for COVID-19. MLS stepped in and canceled the match, and the Fire flew home without playing.
Chicago will face Sporting Kansas City at Soldier Field this Saturday (2:30 p.m. CT, Univision & TUDN). With no match to break down from last night, here are some stats to chew on, instead (these do not include stats from Wednesday night’s other matches):
- The Fire remain the only team in MLS without a road win.
