The Chicago Fire are out with two new adidas jerseys the club has dubbed the “Lakefront” kits ahead of the 2021 season.
The team will again wear navy at home, so fans wanting a switch back to red will have to hope for change next year. It’s a very similar jersey to last season’s home shirt, but this version has a bit more red trim, and lacks the red pinstripes. The fact that the “crown” logo is there will surely disappoint some fans, but the club has said all along the crown would have to stay for 2021, because adidas’s production times wouldn’t allow for a change until the 2022 season.
