This is nothing new to Victor Mete, this sense that he might be overwhelmed, that he might not be up for the challenge, that he is not yet prepared for what he will be asked to face.
That sense does not exist in him, but has always come from the outside.
There may be justifiable reasons for this doubt to exist. Mete is not a large human being and plays a position where strength and size are valuable assets.
