Much has changed around Wrigley Field since our last photo update. BCB’s David Sameshima visited the ballpark Sunday morning and sent me this report:
I arrived at the ballpark at 9:50 a.m. From the street, not much activity was visible. I started on the Addison Street side, and it was quite loud out on the street. It sounded like they were sandblasting inside.
Not really much is visible at this point. Lots of scaffolding platforms, to hold dumpsters outside the upper deck, and tarps.
The only really interesting thing I saw was that holes appear to have been drilled, in the top of the concrete panels, along the end of the third base line grandstands.
