Slogging around in the snow is not usual in Chicago in late November, but I made a visit to Wrigley Field Tuesday morning to see how the construction project was progressing.
The snow — and a few flurries were falling while I was there — hasn’t slowed things down at all. There were many construction workers visible around all parts of the project.
In photo 6, there’s clearly an area that looks like the base of an elevator shaft. We’ll have to see how that progresses as the winter continues.
I got my first really good look at what’s happening on the Sheffield side in this visit, as one of the gates was open.
