Jinx? Don't count on it.
To the shock of nobody, the Cubs have landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated's baseball preview.
But SI threw a curveball into the whole "jinx" thing when they tabbed the Houston Astros as their pick for the 2016 World Series favorites over the Cubs.
This is the same outlet that pegged the Astros as "Your 2017 World Series Champs" back in 2014, but Houston's surprise success last season obviously bumped up the timeline.

The Cubs, meanwhile, have been heralded as World Series favorites by just about every prognosticator.
