In winning the MVP award in near unanimous fashion -- he collected 29 of 30 first-place votes -- Bryant improved his isolated power while cutting down on his strikeout rate from 30.6 percent to 22 percent. Can he make another leap? What's interesting is that when Bryant was drafted and coming up through the minors, scouts raved about his power to all fields. But only one of his 39 home runs went to the opposite field and that was just to the right of center.
