We are just about halfway through the abbreviated 60-game 2020 MLB season.
If we were having a normal season and were about halfway through, we’d be talking about who’d be making this year’s All-Star team. This year’s All-Star Game was supposed to be at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, but that was (obviously) cancelled. L.A. will get the 2022 ASG, and next year’s will be in Atlanta.
The Cubs currently have the second-best record in the National League and thus, must have had some good performances that would rate All-Star consideration.
If I were making selections for a NL All-Star team at the halfway point in 2020, it would include three Cubs.
