The Chicago Cubs are set to make history. Currently they have a 7.5 game lead over the San Fransisco Giants for the second Wild Card, but that is not what has them on the verge of history.
What does, is if the Cubs hang on to their lead and make the playoffs, they will become the first team in baseball history to make the playoffs starting four rookies in the regular everyday lineup.
Jorge Soler, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell and Kyle Schwarber have brought excitement and every to a Cubs team unlike any we have seen for a very long time.
