The White Sox will host the Minnesota Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field to open the season on July 24, a source confirmed Monday, hours before Major League Baseball announces its full schedule for the 60-game season at 5 p.m.
NBC Sports Chicago first reported the matchup between the defending AL Central champion Twins and the Sox, who are looking to make the postseason for the first time since 2008.
Fans will not be allowed to attend, per public health guidelines and restrictions.
According to multiple reports, the Cubs are hosting the Brewers for their first game at Wrigley Field.
