What’s ailing Cubs pitcher Adam Warren?

With the decision to send reliever Adam Warren down to Triple-A Iowa and stretch him out for at least one start in the big leagues, it’s a good time to look at what’s gone wrong with the right-hander after such a promising start.

Warren didn’t allow an earned run in his first eight appearances of the season (nine innings), held opponents to a .271 OPS and posted a 31.3 percent strikeout rate.
