It’s been a long time since Sammy Sosa found himself in the Cubs dugout, 21 years to be exact. But he was there today at Sloan Park. Sosa’s exile is a messy story we don’t need to relitigate here, but he issued an apology and was welcomed back with open arms. That included an appearance at CubsCon prior to his return to spring training, and Sosa will be inducted into the Cubs Hall of Fame this summer.

“I’ve been out for 21 years, but now I’m back here,” Sosa said.
