You can already tell the Cubs are glad to be home, and they’re only just underway at Wrigley Field. Nicholas Castellanos was the first to go long, blasting his seventh home run since joining the Cubs after deadline trade from Detroit.
Not to be outdone, Anthony Rizzo stepped up to the plate one batter later and crushed his 24th home run of the season. That homer gave the Cubs a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning.
