Home plate umpire Erich Bacchus gained infamy Sunday night for a liberal zone that helped Adam Wainwright shut the Cubs down. David Ross was none too pleased with the young arbiter’s assessment of balls and strikes, so he kindly asked Bacchus to improve the accuracy of his calls. For that, Ross earned an early trip to the showers.
But before he could make his way to the clubhouse, the manager gave Bacchus a few pointers.
