The Cubs held a 2-1 lead over the Marlins in the fifth inning on Thursday afternoon, and the duo known as Bryzzo provided some much needed insurance. After Kris Bryant drew a walk, Anthony Rizzo blasted his 10th home run of the 2019 season to push the lead to 4-1. The blast was Anthony’s 200th in a Cubs uniform, he hit one home run as a San Diego Padre.
