For the first time since the no hitter pitched by Cole Hamels, the Cubs lost a regular season start by Jake Arrieta. We’ve started to take this for granted. In fact, I was even on ESPN radio yesterday and said that I believe that at the end of the season, Arrieta will still have 0 losses. Call me crazy, but I think it can happen. It would break the record helded by Carl Hubbell for consecutive decisions without a loss, which stands at 24. Jake is currently at 20, so really it would shatter it.
