Could the return of Grandpa Rossy to an MLB dugout be upon us?
According to the Star Tribune, the Twins are reportedly interested in interviewing David Ross for their managerial opening.
Ross, 41, has been a busy man since retiring after the 2016 season. The former Cubs catcher performed on Dancing with the Stars, joined ESPN as an analyst and took a job in the Cubs front office as a special assistant to baseball operations.
If hired this offseason, Ross would become one of the youngest managers in MLB. The only current managers younger than Ross are Kevin Cash, 40, of the Rays and Andy Green, 41 (born four months after Ross), of the Padres.
