Tsuyoshi Wada: Certified Badass

Perhaps lost in tonight’s victory highlights was Chicago Cubs pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada‘s bullpen-saving performance against the Cleveland Indians. Wada ate up seven mostly drama-free innings, throwing only 107 pitches, 69 for strikes (nice) and buoyed by the Cubs offense to keep pumping the zone early on in the game. After the game…well, let’s let the Cubs beat guys tell the story as it seems manager Joe Maddon put Wada up to some hilarity:
