Two weeks remain in the 2024 regular season.
The Cubs are still mathematically alive for a postseason spot, but we are in “miracle” territory. For example: If the Cubs somehow won all 13 games remaining to finish with 89 wins, the Braves AND Mets would have to do no better than 7-6 over their remaining games.
Likely? Of course not. Impossible? Well... pretty much.
So let’s just hope the Cubs finish this year on a high note. They will play 10 of their final 13 games at Wrigley Field.
