The Rundown: Castro Records Second Walk-Off Hit in As Many Games, Junior Lake Sent to AAA, Schlitter Called Up, Gleyber Torres Goes 5-for-5

It was deja vu last night, as Starlin Castro came up with a huge game-winning hit for the second game in a row. With the win, the Cubs took three out of four from the Reds and are seven games over .500.

The Cardinals were rained out, so the Cubs are now 6.5 games back (and a half-game behind the Pirates). It doesn’t seem like the Cubs have made up a lot of ground lately, probably because they haven’t, but all they can do is keep piling up wins.

Sunday was yet another type of win we haven’t seen in recent years.
