The Cubs made history Tuesday in San Diego when all four infielders started for the National League. Ben Zobrist batted leadoff. Kris Bryant hit a home run off Chris Sale. Anthony Rizzo had hit in two plate appearances and helped setup the NL’s second run. And Addison Russell just missed a three-run homer in two at-bats.
On the mound, Jon Lester came out of the pen and recorded two outs in the seventh inning. Jake Arrieta did not pitch.
