There were a couple interesting pitching tidbits today, as the Chicago Cubs added to their pitching depth with the addition of Manny Parra to a minor-league deal:
Parra will receive $520K plus a potential $1.28M in bonuses if he makes the Majors, Jon Heyman tweets.
While one wonders how the Cubs will stick Parra into a really full bullpen already, it never hurts to have more depth, and it also helps that Parra has swingman potential like his fellow lefties in Travis Wood and Clayton Richard.
