MESA, Ariz. – Even though he’s now retired, David Ross still has the ability to lighten up the mood in the Cubs clubhouse. A day after backup catcher Miguel Montero loudly joked about “The Bachelor” while sitting on a couch in the middle of the clubhouse, Ross’ former teammates were abuzz about the announcement that the former Cub would be on the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Ross was announced as a contestant on "Good Morning America" Wednesday morning, along with Mr. T, gymnast Simone Biles, former figure skater Nancy Kerrigan and current "Bachelor" Nick Viall.
