Wednesday marks the 50th anniversary of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax throwing a perfect game, the last of his four no-hitters, against the Chicago Cubs.
It is considered one of the most memorable games pitched in major league history and was part of a season in which the Dodgers won the World Series, with Koufax pitching a shutout in the seventh game.
