It's become commonplace in sports to see the mayor of two cities make bets against one another when the two teams are going head-to-head in an important postseason series.
But has anybody ever seen cities' theme parks making bets?
Six Flags in St. Louis took to Twitter before the NLDS starter to poke some fun at the Cubs (h/t CBSChicago):
Before long, a bet between the St. Louis and Chicago (Gurnee) Six Flags was born on Twitter, with the loser re-naming a ride after the winning team.
I'm sure most people who witnesed the ordeal didn't think either park would actually go through with it.
