The SB Cubs are currently in Fort Wayne, Indiana preparing for the rubber game in their series with the Tin Caps. Ryan Williams (@rhynowilliams) gets the start. After losing game one, the baby Cubs took game two with a score of 9-2.
The strange part of that 9-2 win wasn’t the score but how the scoring happened. In nine innings, the Cubs combined for only 3 hits, a season low. FW pitchers walked SB batters 8 times and hit one. SB scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning on only 1 hit (2 RBI single by Charcer Burks).
