Going into the All Star Break the South Bend Cubs would prefer a better win-loss record but they certainly can’t complain about their attendance record thus far for the 2015 season. As of Sunday June 21st, the last day of the first half, 160,550 fans had attended South Bend Cubs games – up substantially from 2014’s 103,000. The baby Cubs have had 16 sellouts already this year, double last year’s 8, and have had 9 games with 7,000 plus fans. At this point in 2014, they had not had a single game of over 7,000 people. 2015 also gave the South Bend franchise their largest opening day crowd of 7,086 as well as their largest single game crowd of 8.
