He adjusted his eating time, took short naps and went out and had another impressive start in the Cubs’ 5-0 win against the Nationals at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs’ All-Star continued his impressive season by throwing seven scoreless innings with no walks and four strikeouts. He’s allowed three runs or fewer since Aug. 18.
Amid the disappointing 2024 Cubs season — the team hasn’t made the postseason over an entire season since 2018 — Imanaga has provided the bright spots.
