Ryan Tepera gets three-game suspension for throwing at Brandon Woodruff

The Cubs and Brewers went through a bit of a hit-by-pitch kerfuffle during their two recent series, one at Wrigley Field, the other in Milwaukee.

In the fifth inning of Tuesday’s 3-2 Cubs win, after Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff had hit Willson Contreras, Ryan Tepera threw this pitch behind Woodruff [VIDEO].

Both benches were warned after that.

Late Thursday, Major League Baseball Senior VP for On-Field Operations Michael Hill announced that Tepera had been given a three-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for this pitch.
