CHICAGO -- Cubs shortstop Addison Russell left Game 3 of the National League Division Series at Wrigley Field in the fourth inning with tightness in his left hamstring after sliding into third base on a triple.
After Starlin Castro's homer tied the game at 2, Russell knocked a fly ball to left field and sped around the bases, stumbling slightly after he rounded second before diving headfirst into third base. He stood up in pain and was removed from the game. Javier Baez entered the game to replace Russell, batting seventh and playing shortstop.
