The Robel García story already felt like an amazing tale of redemption and that was before he played a crucial part in the Cubs’ impressive offensive display on the 4th of July. In an 11-3 Cubs win that contained 15 hits from the North Siders, García went 3-for-5 with a home run and a triple.
Fun fact: 3 of the players in today's #Cubs lineup had a triple for their first career MLB hits.
