A friend of Melisa Russell alleged in an Instagram comment that Russell “mentally and physically” abused his wife and “hit her in front of Aiden and Mila,” Russell’s son with Melisa and his daughter through another woman. The friend’s Instagram account has been wiped.
The Cubs have not commented on the situation.
