We’re a week into spring training and the Cubs are sitting at 6-0. Almost all the regular starters have seen playing time, except for Nico Hoerner and Matt Shaw. Both are recovering from different issues that have kept them out of action to this point. Shaw injured his oblique shortly before games began and has only been taking swings in the batting cage. With less than three weeks until the Cubs travel to Tokyo, the odds he’s available are getting very slim.
