Hammel had a not-awful no-decision last Thursday against Atlanta (5 IP, 2 ER, 6 K, 1 B). He was 5-4 with a 2.86 before the break last year and 5-3 with a 5.10 in the second half. The Rangers are 28-106 (.264) against him. Andrus is 3-7.
Darvish is returning to the rotation after being on the DL in early June for shoulder tightness. His last outing (only his third, after coming back from TJS) was a no-decision on June 8 against the Astros (5 IP, 1 ER, 7 K, 4 BB).
