CINCINNATI -- Jose Quintana pitched seven dominant innings and got plenty of offensive help as the Cubs cruised to a 10-0 victory over the Reds in Game 2 of Saturday's day-night doubleheader at Great American Ball Park.
Quintana threw 4 1/3 innings of no-hit ball until Reds center fielder Scott Schebler knocked a single to right field following a free pass to Adam Duvall in the fifth. In the next at-bat, catcher Tony Cruz grounded into a double play to end the inning. Only twice did Quintana let a baserunner reach second, once in the fifth and again in the seventh.
