Cody Keenan has traveled the world five times over as speechwriter for President Barack Obama and helped write some of the President’s most powerful speeches, but on Monday, he finally met someone really famous when he got to take several pictures with David Ross.
Yes, Keenan’s last week in the White House started out with a bang. A diehard Cubs fan, the 36-year-old Keenan got a front-row seat, and of course, back room access, for their first-ever visit to the White House as World Series champions.
Born in Lakeview, Keenan spent his first four years in the Wrigleyville area before going to preschool in Evanston and elementary and junior high in Wilmette.
