The 2025 PECOTA predictions have been released and the Cubs are heavy favorites to win the National League Central. They’re projected to finish the season with 90.6 wins, which would easily win the division if everything plays out according to the respected computer model.

The idea that the Cubs are starting the season with a projected win total of 90+ wins is simply fantastic and well beyond what many would have expected just a few months ago.
