Patience pays as the Cubs rally to win homestand finale

CHICAGO -- "Moneyball" was a book about market inefficiency, not on-base percentage, but on-base percentage was certainly part of it. There's plenty of "Moneyball" in this year's Chicago Cubs, but behind the lofty on-base percentages are human traits: Patience, discipline, consistency of approach -- all qualities this year's Cubs have turned into mantras. And wins.

The Cubs were at it again on Wednesday, rallying from a 4-1 deficit with a run in the eighth and three in the ninth, culminating in a dramatic walk-off, 5-4 win over Miami to complete a three-game sweep of the Marlins.
