- Reigning National League Most Valuable Player Ronald Acuña Jr. is out for the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. He tore his right ACL back in 2021 and missed the rest of that season as well.
- Dan Szymborski writes that the Braves’ chances to catch the Phillies in the NL East are dwindling. This was written before Acuña’s injury, which I’m sure makes the odds even worse.
- I guess as long as we’re talking about the butcher’s bill, we might as well get the costs right now.
