Good morning.
- We’re going to start with the butcher’s bill, because it’s really expensive today. Especially for the Dodgers. Shortstop Mookie Betts broke his left hand when he was hit with a pitch in Sunday’s game.
- And Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto left his start on Saturday with what was later diagnosed as a strained rotator cuff. All the Dodgers are saying at this point is that the injury is not season-ending.
- Andy McCullough writes that while this is a blow to the Dodgers, all that really matters is for Betts and Yamamoto to be healthy in October.
