We all know Shohei Ohtani is a generational talent, and probably one of the best baseball players of all time, but he had an incredible weekend that helped prove it.
First, he was the fastest player to reach the 40/40 club, he reached the milestone in 126 games, something none of the other five players in the club have done before September (meaning, in theory, Ohtani COULD reach the 50/50 club...)
This wasn’t the only thing. Ohtani did BOTH in the same game, getting his 40th stolen base in the fourth inning, and his 40th home run as a walk-off grand slam.
