As we continue to see the ABS system get tested in Spring Training, and with it we have seen some pitchers share how unimpressed they are, while some batters have felt vindicated, and as a surprising side reveal, we’ve learned that a lot of players have been lying about their height.
But one thing we still are unsure of is whether or not the ABS will be used once the 2025 regular season rolls around.
Well, at this point, the answer (while not yet finalized) seems to be “No.” While things have been going relatively well this spring, there currently don’t appear to be any immediate plans to use the system when the 2025 season starts.
