So, I thought that if I wait until early Saturday morning to write this post…it would make the negative emotions of yesterday’s game go away. I don’t know why I thought that would be the case because for 33 years I have wore my Cubs emotions on my sleeve with it taking me days, sometimes a month, to get over. Friday’s game against the New York Yankees was one of them.
At one point in the bottom of the 8th inning, I thought to myself that this was probably the best game that I have watched this season.
