All of the departed 2016 World Series Cubs have returned to Wrigley Field after the big 2021 selloff, except two: Anthony Rizzo, who will return with the Yankees next month, and Javier Báez.
As such, I’m sure the Cubs will give a video tribute to Javy, and he’ll receive a warm welcome back. After that, Javy likely goes back to having a miserable year at the plate.
