If the Cubs are going to remain in wild-card contention, they’ve got to do better in this series than they did against the Diamondbacks. (Master of the obvious, I know.) The Cubs stand 4-6 so far this year against the Brewers, and won’t face them again in 2024 after Wednesday, barring some sort of miracle where they meet in the postseason.
