After a rather long four-day break, the Cubs return to the field Friday night (8:15pm CDT) to open the National League Division Series against the Giants.
The Cubs lived up to the Spring Training hype and were the best team in baseball over the course of the regular season. The Cubs won the National League Central Division Crown and finished the incredible summer with 103 wins, the fourth highest win total in franchise history.
Beginning with the best-of-five NLDS against the Giants, these Cubs will attempt to reach the ultimate goal over the next three weeks.
