I tweeted this just after the game, but it’s a really good idea not to use the minutiae of two games of an NLCS to draw grand conclusions about the 2015 Cubs. If you’ve just recently started watching the Cubs because of their success of late, let me say two things: Welcome, we’re happy to have you. And you’re watching a team that one at least a dozen more regular season games than they were projected to and that has made it to the NLCS for the first time in 12 years in a year that they weren’t expected to make the playoffs at all.
