As you know, the Mets and Braves had two games postponed in Atlanta last week due to Hurricane Helene.
Since the games still are meaningful for playoff positioning, they’re being made up as a doubleheader this afternoon at Truist Park.
The situation is simple. If either team sweeps the doubleheader, that team and the Diamondbacks claim the last two wild card spots. If the doubleheader splits, the Braves and Mets are in and the D-backs are out.
